Artist Bio:
Hi, I’m Karissa — you can call me Kris. I’m a multi‑media artist born and raised in Vancouver, Washington, now based in San Diego, California. My love of art began with my camera (named Pearl, of course). I started studying photography - drawning towards capturing candid moments, nature, and the world around me.

My concentration originally centered on photography before expanding into interdisciplinary and public‑interaction work. Over time, my practice has grown into ceramics, sculpture, painting, and non‑traditional approaches to making.

My most recent exhibition, Lovely, brought together four years of interdisciplinary work, including photo transfers on ceramic slabs, interactive audio pieces, and rugs used as canvases.
